Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Flobi (“Flobi”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit flobi.ai or use the Flobi apps, including Flow, Drive, Wall, Writer, Lumens, Handoff, Upscaler, Projects, Brands and Hub (together, the “Service”).
The short version: we collect what we need to run your account and the work you create, we use it to provide the Service, and we do not sell it. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address, profile picture and, if you sign up with email, a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
- Workspace details — the names of workspaces you create or join, your role, and the people you invite.
- Your content — prompts, images, video, audio, documents, boards, brand assets, comments and any other files you upload to or create in the Service.
- Recipients you share with — for example, the email addresses you enter when you send files through Handoff or share a board.
- Messages to us — what you send when you contact support or give feedback.
Information from sign-in providers
If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider shares basic profile information with us. What we receive from Google, and how we use it, is set out in section 3.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device information — IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, and the date and time of each request.
- Diagnostics — error and crash reports that help us find and fix problems.
- Cookies and similar technologies — essential cookies that keep you signed in, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, in some apps) that tell us how features are used. You can block analytics cookies in your browser without affecting sign-in.
Payment information
Purchases of plans and credits are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details such as your billing name, country, card brand, the last four digits of your card and your transaction history. We never receive or store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- create your account, sign you in and keep your account secure;
- provide the Service — store your files, run the generations and edits you request, and sync your work;
- show your name and picture to the people you collaborate with;
- process payments, keep track of credits and send receipts;
- respond to support requests and send messages about your account or changes to the Service;
- detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- understand how the Service is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service, your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.
3. Google user data
You can choose to create your Flobi account and sign in with your Google Account. This section describes exactly what we receive from Google and what we do with it.
What we access
When you use Sign in with Google, we request only the basic sign-in permissions — openid, email and profile. With them, Google shares:
- your name;
- your email address and whether Google has verified it;
- your profile picture;
- a unique identifier for your Google Account.
Flobi does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos or any other Google service or data.
How we use it
- to create your Flobi account and sign you in;
- to recognise you on later sign-ins and keep your account secure;
- to show your name and picture to members of your workspaces;
- to contact you about your account, for example receipts or security notices.
How we share it
Our authentication provider processes this information on our behalf to run sign-in. Otherwise, your Google user data is visible only to people in the workspaces you belong to, as described above. We do not sell Google user data, do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop, improve or train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
How we store and protect it
Google user data is stored in our account systems and protected in transit with TLS encryption and access controls that limit who can reach it. We keep it for as long as your account exists.
How to remove it
You can delete your Flobi account at any time from Settings → Profile → Delete account, or by emailing info@flobi.ai. When your account is deleted, we delete the Google user data we hold, except for any records we are required to keep by law. You can also remove Flobi’s access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account connections page.
Limited Use
Flobi’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. How long we keep information
We keep account information and your content for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we delete it from our active systems, and it is removed from backups as they cycle. We keep some records longer when the law requires it — for example, transaction records for tax and accounting.
6. Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, restricted access for our staff and service providers, and monitoring for misuse. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information and your account;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- withdraw consent you have given;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
You can update your profile and delete your account from Settings in the Flobi app. For anything else, email info@flobi.ai. We will respond within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
8. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in. When we transfer personal information internationally, we use safeguards the law recognises, such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law where they live, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, if the changes are significant, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
